Transform Your Relationship: Exclusive 3-Day Counseling Intensive with Stacey Curnow

Are you and your loved one fighting a lot? Do disagreements seem to escalate quickly, leaving both of you feeling confused and hurt? Are the number of “off-limits” topics growing, making communication feel strained and difficult? Do you feel like you’re constantly walking on eggshells, afraid to bring up certain subjects?

Are you feeling unheard and unsupported? Do you long for your partner to truly listen and understand your perspective, but find yourself met with defensiveness or indifference? Do you yearn for a more authentic emotional connection, but struggle to find ways to bridge the gap?

Perhaps you’re facing additional challenges, such as a serious medical diagnosis or a traumatic event, which have put a strain on your relationship. The stress and uncertainty surrounding these issues may be causing overwhelm and conflict between you and your partner, leaving you feeling inadequate, unworthy, and alone.

Or maybe you’re in a period of transition, navigating a new way of being in your relationship. Whether you’re adjusting to changes in your family dynamic, career shifts, or other life transitions, you may find yourself struggling to find your footing.

If any of these scenarios resonate with you, Stacey Curnow, one of Asheville’s most sought-after couples and family counselors, would love to welcome you on a transformative journey designed exclusively for couples seeking rapid transformation and increased connection.

Unlocking Deeper Understanding and Connection

If you’ve previously sought counseling and felt frustrated with the slow progress, struggling to gain traction, and make the necessary changes to achieve your desired outcomes, the Counseling Intensive is the perfect solution for you. Traditional weekly counseling sessions will not provide the intensity or focus needed to address deep-seated issues quickly.

The Counseling Intensive offers a concentrated and immersive experience, allowing you to dive deep into your relationship dynamics and work through challenges in a condensed time frame. With extended sessions over three days, you’ll have the opportunity to make significant strides forward in a short period.

Rather than feeling stuck in a cycle of negativity, the Intensive approach provides a catalyst for transformation. You’ll receive personalized attention and support from Stacey, enabling you to heal attachment trauma, enhance compassionate communication, increase loving and joyful connection, and create lasting positive change.

The Intensive is meticulously crafted to accelerate and enhance desired outcomes, including:

  • Understanding Each Other Better: Cultivate a more profound connection by acquiring a deep understanding of how attachment trauma impacts you and and your relationship.
  • Effective Communication: Learn compassionate communication skills for authentic expression and open dialogue.
  • Collaborative and Proactive Problem Solving: Work together to create a foundation for sustained growth and harmony.

A Deep Dive into Your Personal Strengths and Less-Grounded Traits

To further enrich your experience, we’ll explore personality assessments such as the Enneagram. You’ll uncover and leverage your unique strengths, gaining insights into personal attributes that contribute to your relationship. Understanding your Enneagram type also empowers you to navigate obstacles gracefully, preventing less-grounded traits from hindering your success.

What people are saying about the Counseling Intensive:

“I cannot express enough gratitude for the Counseling Intensive. Stacey, you blew our minds! The weekend spent with you was nothing short of transformative for our relationship. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found you.

Your guidance and expertise have helped us navigate through our challenges with clarity and understanding. The profound insights you offered were invaluable, nudging us gently towards a deeper understanding and connection.

After our weekend with you, we followed your recommendation and incorporated a “process commitment” into our daily routine. This morning, we started our day with meditation, and then a walk around the pond. This was meant to be a short stroll, but it turned into an hour-long journey filled with meaningful conversation and reflection.

Stacey, your approach is truly powerful, and the impact you’ve had on us is immeasurable. Thank you for helping us rediscover the strength and beauty in our relationship. We are forever grateful.”

The Intensive Experience

We’ll kick-start your transformative journey with “Pre-Intensive” work. As part of this experience, you’ll receive a 50-page workbook. This workbook is a crucial component of our preparatory process and is designed to enhance the effectiveness of our sessions. It contains tailored questionnaires to clarify your goals and aspirations. You’ll gain access to many valuable resources focused on skyrocketing your results.

The Intensive is also complemented by Stacey’s bestselling book, Repair Your Relationships: Reset, Reconnect, and Enjoy Your Most Important Relationships, and its accompanying Guided Journal.

The schedule includes individual sessions, followed by a 2-hour couples or family session, repeated over three immersive days. The Intensive also includes a 2-hour Post-Intensive Session to debrief the experience and reflect on areas of insight, relief, and transformation.

Counseling Intensive FAQs

Who can benefit from the Counseling Intensive?

Counseling Intensives offer an ideal solution for those seeking swift and profound personal growth and transformation in their most important relationships. If you’re ready to catalyze change in your life and relationships, a Counseling Intensive provides a compelling option. Tailored to your specific needs and objectives, this accelerated counseling format enables clients to delve deeper and achieve desired results more rapidly.

Instead of the traditional weekly or bi-weekly 50-minute sessions over an extended period, a Counseling Intensive condenses the process into three dedicated days. This innovative approach streamlines the path to enduring transformation, eliminating the need for recurrent counseling appointments. Many liken the experience to a retreat, affording the opportunity to disconnect from daily obligations and fully immerse themselves in healing, self-reflection, and reconnection.

Why should I do a Counseling Intensive instead of a normal 50-minute counseling session?

A Counseling Intensive offers a more impactful and efficient alternative to traditional 50-minute counseling sessions. In a typical 50-minute session, valuable time is consumed by initial check-ins and closing discussions, leaving only around 30-40 minutes for substantial therapeutic exploration. In contrast, with 3 days of 4-hour intensive counseling sessions, you’re looking at a total of 12 hours of intensive counseling.

Considering a typical schedule of bi-weekly counseling sessions, which amounts to one session every two weeks, 3 days of 4-hour intensive counseling would be the equivalent of six months of bi-weekly counseling sessions! The Intensive experience truly allows for a concentrated focus on life-changing work, providing substantial progress and insights over a very short period of time.

How many Intensive Days should I schedule?

The number of Intensive Days depends on your specific goals for the Counseling Intensive. If you’re just starting your therapeutic journey, we typically suggest a 3-Day Intensive to allow for comprehensive exploration and progress. However, if you’ve already begun your work together and you have specific, well-defined goals, it’s possible to achieve them within a shorter time frame, such as a 1-Day Intensive spanning 4 hours. We’re here to assist you in determining the optimal number of days that align with your objectives and facilitate meaningful progress.

If I already have a primary counselor, can I do an Intensive as an adjunct to my current counseling?

Absolutely, you can certainly do a Counseling Intensive as an adjunct to your ongoing counseling with your primary counselor. In fact, it often complements your regular counseling sessions quite effectively, especially when you encounter specific challenges or feel particularly stuck in your progress.

Numerous counselors highly recommend their clients engage in Intensives with Stacey for precisely this purpose. To guarantee smooth collaboration and coordination between herself and your current counselor, we kindly request that you sign a Release of Information. This ensures that we can work together seamlessly to maximize the effectiveness of your therapeutic journey.

Can my insurance help pay for the Counseling Intensive?

Unfortunately, Counseling Intensives are not covered by insurance for a variety of reasons. First, insurance companies often have strict criteria for reimbursable services, and the non-traditional format of Intensives do not meet these criteria. Additionally, the duration of Intensives, with longer sessions over a shorter period, do not align with insurance policies designed for shorter, weekly sessions. Finally, the highly customized nature of Intensives can also pose challenges for insurance companies in standardizing reimbursement criteria. These factors collectively contribute to the unfortunate reality that insurance does not cover Counseling Intensives.

How much does a Counseling Intensive cost?

The cost of a Counseling Intensive varies depending on factors such as the number of days and the number of individuals participating. Each Intensive is meticulously crafted to ensure a unique and transformative experience. As we consider the possibility of embarking on this journey together, it’s crucial to recognize that it entails not only a significant investment of time but also a commitment of financial resources.

Perhaps this story may resonate with you – the tale of Picasso and the napkin. Legend has it that Picasso, when asked to sketch on a paper napkin, requested a million Francs in return. Perplexed by the seemingly high price for a drawing that took mere minutes, the admirer questioned the value. Picasso’s response was profound: “My dear, it took me a lifetime to be able to draw this sketch.” He wasn’t merely seeking compensation for the act; he sought recognition for the years of study, practice, and mastery that led to his ability to create a work of art swiftly.

Stacey approaches her work with the same dedication that Picasso brought to his art. The investment in the Intensive reflects not only the time spent during those days but also acknowledges the cumulative experience, expertise, and commitment Stacey bring to your sessions. She’s confident that, much like Picasso, she can help transform your relationship into a work of art once again.

When are payments due? Do you offer refunds?

Upon booking your Intensive, a non-refundable deposit is due to secure your spot. To accommodate your budgeting needs, we can often offer flexible payment plans. The remaining balance is then due at least 2 weeks prior to the first day of your Intensive.

While we are able to reschedule your Intensive with at least 2 weeks’ notice, please note that all payments are non-refundable. This policy is in place due to the highly personalized and unique nature of the Counseling Intensive, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately to meet your specific therapeutic goals while also respecting the investment of Stacey’s time and energy.
