If at any time during your counseling journey you feel that you have a concern or complaint, we encourage you to share it with us. We offer a dedicated grievance process to ensure that your concerns are heard and understood. This process involves scheduling a session with your practitioner and/or Stacey Curnow, the owner of Asheville Family Counseling. If Stacey is your counselor, you could speak with her and/or Erika, our practice manager. This session is provided free of charge. During this session, we will listen attentively to your concerns and work collaboratively to identify a desirable resolution. We believe that addressing concerns promptly can lead to positive outcomes for your counseling journey.
In most cases, we believe that a satisfactory resolution to your concern or complaint can be achieved through open communication and collaboration. Resolving issues can contribute to a more effective counseling experience, allowing you to focus on your personal growth and well-being.
If, for any reason, you feel that your concern or complaint cannot be resolved through our internal grievance process, you have the right to register an official complaint with the licensing board governing your practitioner.
